What is the story about?
Welcome
to The Link Farm. This is your update on all things Texas A&M (that we didn’t already talk about in another article). And if there’s something we missed, be sure to talk about it in the comments.
- Weather halts Softball series opener. #12 Texas A&M hosted #1 Oklahoma last night at Davis Diamond and was trailing 5-3 in the bottom of the 6th when the game was delayed. Keep an eye out for the resumption of the game, but with the weather looming large over Texas, it may take time to get the series in.
- Aggie Track & Field heads home to close out regular season. After competing at the Penn Relays, Texas A&M will be back in the Lone Star State this weekend to get ready for the postseason. The Alumni Muster at E.B. Cushing Stadium begins today and will see the Aggies host 14 teams, including Baylor, Iowa State, and Penn State.
- Rain delays Men’s Tennis postseason opener. Softball wasn’t the only sport impacted by the rain in Texas, as the Texas A&M Men’s Tennis team was forced to bump back its match against Wagner as well. The Aggies and Seahawks are slated to meet after 6:00 p.m. tonight at the Mitchell Tennis Center.
- Five Aggies signed as undrafted free agents. The NFL Draft concluded last weekend with double-digit Aggies being selected by teams. Joining those Aggies in the league will be five former players who signed UDFA deals. Taurean York signed with the Denver Broncos, EJ Smith with the Kansas City Chiefs, Le’Veon Moss with the Miami Dolphins, and both Tyreek Chappell and Scooby Williams signed with the Minnesota Vikings.
