Portland Trail Blazers center Yang Hansen has been ruled out for today’s NBA Summer League contest against the Orlando Magic due to an illness, the organization announced on social media. The Trail Blazers will tip off against the Magic in Las Vegas at 4 p.m. PDT.
Outside of two-way players Chris Youngblood and Jayson Kent, Yang is the only member of the Blazers regular roster playing in Las Vegas this July.
The Blazers lost to the Phoenix Suns 81-79 in their Summer League opener on Friday night. Yang
provided 12 points, nine rebounds, four assists, and four turnovers while shooting 5-10 from the floor (2-3 on 3s) in 26 minutes.
With Yang set to miss today’s matchup, his next chance to play in Las Vegas will be on Monday against the Minnesota Timberwolves at 8 p.m. PDT.
