The biggest news of the week coming out of the Texas football program was head coach Steve Sarkisian’s decision to bring back newly hired defensive coordinator Will Muschamp. It’s Muschamp’s second tenure at Texas. But where has Muschamp been since his first stint at Texas, from 2008 to 2010, when he served as defensive coordinator and linebackers coach?
From 2011 to 2014, Muschamp was Florida’s head coach.
In 2015, he served one year as defensive coordinator at Auburn.
And from 2016 to 2020, Muschamp
was South Carolina’s head coach.
Since 2021, Muschamp has coached at Georgia in several capacities.
