Sebastian Fundora was recently injured in training and saw his October 25 fight with Keith Thurman postponed, but a new working date is already in place, and it won’t be a pay-per-view main event with that
new date.
. Pacquiao has said he will fight on January 24 in Las Vegas, though that date could be pushed back a week, according to Coppinger. Many expect Pacquiao to face WBA welterweight titleholder Rolly Romero, though nothing has been officially set just yet.
Fundora (23-1-1, 15 KO) will be defending his WBC super welterweight title against Thurman (31-1, 23 KO), who moved up to the 154 lb division this past March after not fighting since 2022, his only two fights in the 2020s.
This could also mean that the fight between O’Shaquie Foster and Stephen Fulton, for Foster’s WBC super featherweight title, could land on that card as well. In all fairness, this would make for an uncommonly strong PBC pay-per-view, so for fight fans, the postponement might actually work out for the best.
