I’ve been asked this question a decent amount this week, and I don’t really have an answer. So, I want to hear from you guys.
Assuming that Zach Tom is going to be out with his oblique injury, which ESPN’s
Adam Schefter has reported, who should start at right tackle against the Dallas Cowboys?
In Week 1, the Green Bay Packers’ answer was to play Darian Kinnard, who was recently acquired from the Philadelphia Eagles. In Week 2, the Packers started second-round rookie Anthony Belton. In Week 3, though, Green Bay decided to play 2024 first-round pick Jordan Morgan, who, to my knowledge, had not played a snap of right tackle throughout training camp or the preseason.
Personally, I think my pecking order is:
- Belton
- Kinnard
- Morgan
I believe that Morgan is a left tackle-only player whom the team is trying to get game reps as a rotational guard so that he’s ready to replace Rasheed Walker in 2026. I don’t want him at right tackle at all, based on what he did last week against the Cleveland Browns. He’s far behind Belton and Kinnard, to me, in this race.
But let’s hear from you guys. Sound off in the comment section.
