Welcome to Midnight Mania!
Let’s start the night off by taking a look back over the three biggest stories of Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
- Ronda Rousey caught in ‘blatant lie’ about judo past, warned to ‘shut up’ about Netflix comeback: Ronda Rousey has been promoting this event for like two weeks and has already fudged more than a few facts.
- Zero Wrestling? Max Holloway’s career ‘done’ after one-sided BMF loss: ‘He looked so bad’: There’s a little too much revisionist history about Holloway never having faced a wrestler before Oliveira. Alexander Volkanovski is a great wrestler, and he couldn’t keep the Hawaiian down in his peak.
- ‘Somebody messed up’ — UFC Seattle fighter forced to compete with two left-handed gloves, wins by knockout anyway: As someone who has worn quite a few varieties of MMA gloves in his day … I have no idea how this would work?
Insomnia
Alright, we really need to get Arman Tsarukyan back in the Octagon before he loses a limb.
Ode Osbourne reacts to his latest defeat being overturned to a “No Contest.”
This clip is 12 years old, and you won’t find slicker scrambling in modern MMA. Fighters were just as good a decade ago!
My guess is Magomed Ankalaev, but I’d love to hear some other suggestions on Dana’s disliked fighter.
Lance Gibson Jr. barely took a punch while knocking out Chase Hooper but still ended up with some stitches courtesy of the referee.
Jalin Turner is considering a move to Welterweight.
Sean O’Malley ducked Cory Sandhagen so hard he became a philosopher.
Slips, rips, and KO clips
I watched this fight happen live from Baltimore, Maryland and still couldn’t name the two fighters involved — shameful. (Chris Beal vs. Patrick Williams)
Josh Fremd didn’t do particularly well in the Octagon, but this is a hell of a way to get back into the win column.
Since being released from the UFC, Nick Fiore has won five straight and stopped every opponent. Time for a second chance?
Random Land
Clouds like a surrealist painting.
