Toledo Mud Hens 4, Omaha Storm Chasers 3 (F/10)(box)
Kenny Serwa’s first Triple-A start went pretty well, and Max Anderson walked this one off for the Mud Hens in 10 innings.
The Storm Chasers got to Serwa for single runs in the second and the fourth. Still, the knuckleballer struck out six and gave the Hens six innings of work.
Andrew Navigato got the Hens on the board with a solo shot in the third. Anderson led off the fourth with a solo shot of his own to tie things up 2-2.
Beau Brieske gave up a solo shot to Brandon Drury in the seventh after taking
over from Serwa. In the bottom half, Brett Callahan led off with a single and took second on a wild pitch. Justice Bigbie, just back up from Erie, singled him to third, and Callahan scored on a Tyler Gentry double play ball to tie things back up.
Brieske looked good in the eighth, and Scott Effross kept the Storm Chasers in check in the ninth. Tanner Rainey did a great job in the top of the 10th. He struck out the first two hitters he faced and got a ground out to turn the Storm Chasers away.
Bennett Lee was on second to start the bottom half. Trei Cruz slapped a little single to move Lee to third, and the Storm Chasers intentionally walked Jung to get to Anderson. Bad idea, as he drilled an opposite field single for the game winner. Max wants to come play in Detroit.

Altoona Curve 2, Erie SeaWolves 0 (box)
Zyhir Hope made his Tigers debut on Tuesday, but it was a quiet day for both offenses.
Colin Fields and Eric Silva were good in a bullpen game, combining to shutout the Curve for five innings with very little traffic on the bases. Peyton Graham led off the bottom of the first with a single, but Hope lined out sharply to center field and that was all for the first. Hope walked in his second at bat, popped out to shortstop in his third, and lined out to shortstop in his final at-bat.
Zane Barnhart took over in the sixth and gave up two runs. Peyton Graham and Josue Briceño singled in the ninth, but Thayron Liranzo and Andrew Jenkins struck out to end it.
Graham: 2-4

Pacheco: 1-3

West Michigan Whitecaps 12, Fort Wayne TinCaps 5 (box)
The Whitecaps hit three homers and racked up 15 hits in this one to crush the TinCaps.
In the top of the second, Clayton Campbell led off with a walk and Beau Ankeney smoked his first High-A home run. That put the Whitecaps up 2-0 and they didn’t look back. Rayner Castillo gave up a run in the bottom half, but in the third, Woody Hadeen led off with a single, and a hard hit single through the right side was misplayed, scoring Hadeen all the way from first. 3-1 Whitecaps.
In the fifth, Ricardo Hurtado homered with Hadeen and Edian Espinal aboard to make it 6-1. Castillo allowed a run in the bottom half, but finished a decent outing with six strikeouts and just two runs allowed. Jalen Evans allowed a pair of runs in the bottom of the sixth, and it was 6-4 ‘Caps.
In the seventh, the Whitecaps put this away. Hadeen led off with a single, and Rainer reached on an error. An Espinal grounded forced Rainer, but Hurtado came through again with a two-run double, and he scored on a Clayton Campbell double. Jackson Strong lined a single to right to score Campbell, and it was 10-4.
Cristian Santana added a solo shot in the eighth, and Campbell singled to lead off the ninth and scored on a Juan Hernandez drive that was misplayed in center field.
