Report: Bayern done trying to convince Chelsea of loan (Daily Mail’s Kieran Gill)
If you were hoping that Bayern Munich would throw one last Hail Mary attempt at Chelsea for Nicolas Jackson, well, you will probably be disappointed:
Sources in Germany say Bayern will not be spending their deadline day trying to convince Chelsea to change their mind regarding Nicolas Jackson, hence the club ended their pursuit for the player. Jackson is now expected to return to Chelsea.
Sancho to Aston Villa? (Fabrizio Romano)

Liverpool, Man City, PSG among clubs watching Olise (Sport Bild’s Christian Falk)
Liverpool, Manchester City, and Paris Saint-Germain are among the teams eyeing Bayern Munich wing Michael Olise:
Christian Falk now reports that Premier League clubs are maintaining a watching brief on Olise following his 2024 departure from Crystal Palace.
“It is TRUE: Premier League clubs have Michael Olise on their radar. The Frenchman is currently in top form,” the Bayern transfer insider exclusively informed CF Bayern Insider. “Thomas Müller already predicted in a conversation with me that the winger would become an absolute leader at FC Bayern! Of course, other top European clubs have also noticed this.”
Intrigue in the Bundesliga wide man is surely only set to increase further after a tremendous start to the season. Liverpool and Manchester City have been credited with interest in Michael Olise.
However, as Falk reports, the Premier League outfits aren’t alone in keeping a close eye on the 23-year-old. Champions League holders PSG are also understood to be keen on the Frenchman.
That being said, there remains a significant catch despite reports to the contrary – interested clubs won’t benefit from an alleged release clause.
“PSG are interested in Olise, and as a Frenchman, he would fit perfectly into the Ligue 1 outfit’s philosophy,” the head of football at the BILD Group added.
“But in England, too, there is annoyance that the player was not kept in the Premier League. Only Newcastle made a serious effort, but lost the poker game against Bayern Munich.
“Now, bigger clubs like Liverpool and Manchester City are also interested in Michael Olise.
“However, FC Bayern will not accept any offers. Good news for Bayern: the rumours about an exit clause in Olise’s contract are NOT TRUE.”
It seems inevitable that big money offers are going to be heade the way of Olise. Will he be able to resist?

As recently as Saturday, it looked like Piero Hincapié was going to stay at the German dumpster fire known as the Bayer Leverkusen 2025/26 season.
Not so fast my friend.

Isak set for LFC move? (ESPN)
The long-anticipated move from Newcastle United to Liverpool for Alexander Isak could be close to done:
Alexander Isak’s long-anticipated move to Liverpool looks set to be completed, according to Fabrizio Romano. Newcastle United reportedly accepted a £130m bid for the wantaway striker late on Sunday after the Magpies’ Saudi owners gave the club the green light to make the move. Brentford striker Yoane Wissa and Wolverhampton Wanderers target man Jorgen Strand Larsen are both being considered as replacements — that’s according to The Mail.
Later on Sunday, Fabrizio Romano would give it the “here we go” treatment:
Dovbyk to NUFC? (ESPN)
If Alexander Isak is leaving, Newcastle United might be looking to compliment Nick Woltemade with Artem Dovbyk:
Newcastle are discussing a move for Roma striker Artem Dovbyk, reports The Sun. Negotiations are ongoing regarding an initial loan move for the 28-year-old that would include an option to be made permanent for a fee in the region of £30 million. After completing the blockbuster signing of Nick Woltemade from VfB Stuttgart on Saturday, Ukraine international Dovbyk would be the Magpies’ second forward signing of the summer, which would open the door to Alexander Isak potentially completing his switch to Liverpool.

🚨⚪️⚫️ No agreement reached yet between Juve and Paris Saint-Germain for Randal Kolo Muani.
Meanwhile, Juventus have approached RB Leipzig again for Loïc Openda as a backup option if Kolo Muani deal collapses.
🚨⚪️⚫️ Juventus have already discussed loan plus obligation to buy proposal for Loïc Openda with RB Leipzig.

Panthers, Kraken Inter Miami, Sounders engage in bench clearing brawl (Fox Soccer)
Nope…not the NHL, but MLS had a brawl with punches being thrown:
Per ESPN, Luis Suárez might have spit in the face of a Seattle Sounders staffer:

Tempers flared at the end of the match with the two teams embroiled in a shoving match on the field after the final whistle. As the teams began to go their separate ways, a camera caught Suárez in a heated exchange with a member of the Sounders staff and video on social media showed him lean towards the man and spit toward his face.
