Nick Woltemade’s future could be taking another major turn, with Juventus now pushing ahead with a move for the German striker.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Juventus have agreed personal terms with Woltemade, who is keen on making the move to Turin. The agreement between the player and the Italian club represents a significant step forward, although the deal is not yet complete.
The remaining hurdle is negotiations between Juventus and Newcastle United over the financial terms of the proposed transfer.
Romano reports that discussions are currently taking place over the loan fee, with the move expected to be structured as a loan rather than a permanent transfer.
Woltemade only recently made the move to Newcastle, making the possibility of another change particularly interesting. The German international has continued to attract significant attention following his impressive development, and Juventus clearly see him as a player who could strengthen their attacking options.
For Newcastle, a loan could provide an opportunity for Woltemade to potentially gain regular playing time and continue his development, while Juventus would be able to add another attacking option without immediately committing to a permanent transfer.
The fact that Woltemade himself wants the move could also prove important as negotiations continue. With personal terms reportedly agreed, Juventus and Newcastle now need to find common ground on the loan fee.
If the clubs can reach an agreement, Woltemade could soon be heading to Italy for the next chapter of his career.
