The Green Bay Packers are still slicking their wounds (and drying their tears) from their loss against the Detroit Lions last week, but the NFL is a rapidly moving beast. If they’re going to want to get back in the NFC North race and bounce back to contender status, they’ve got to move quickly, because they’re first up for Week 8 of the 2026 NFL season.
On Thursday night, the Packers host the Carolina Panthers, one of the most inconsistent teams in the league right now. They’ve beaten the Falcons
by 31 and the Lions by 6, but they’ve also been destroyed by the Bears by 22 points and they’re coming off a disastrous 30-point loss to the Buccaneers.
Will the Lions get some help from the “good” Panthers, or will the NFC North continue to accumulate wins outside of the division against a “bad” Panthers team?
So here’s a look at who our staff is picking for Thursday night.
