What is the story about?
The Pittsburgh Steelers have released linebacker Malik Harrison. The former Baltimore Raven held the 11th-highest cap hit on the roster, and the move saves the Steelers just under $5 million against the cap for the 2026 season.
The Steelers also released linebacker Elandon Roberts, though his name will continue to be one to monitor as a candidate to return in short order. Pittsburgh released Chuck Clark at this time last year, and he appeared in 15 games for the team.
