More chaos ensued last week, throwing The Thermometer™️’s readings out of whack. Now, with Week 9 falling on Halloween Saturday night, it feels like we have entered The Twlight Zone. October 31 last fell on Saturday in 2020, when we saw five Top-25 teams lose that evening. There are only two ranked matchups this week, but they serve as the appetizers for Week 10’s mega slate of games. To all those who play on All Hallow’s Eve (especially Top 25 squads), beware of the Thermometer’s warnings. Nearly
half (11) of the rankings go on the road, including three of the top five. Only time will tell what reality we find ourselves in as we exit October.
