Conor McGregor is ready to remind the fight game what he’s capable of when “Notorious” meets Max Holloway in a rematch at UFC 329 on July 11 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The news of McGregor’s long-awaited UFC return broke Saturday night courtesy of UFC CEO, Dana White. It’s pretty apparent that White waited for the night of “Rousey vs. Carano” to announce McGregor’s comeback, but fight fans can’t be picky. “Notorious” is finally back and that only means good things for UFC and MMA as a whole.
Of course,
McGregor wasted little time jumping on social media and taking immediate jabs at Holloway. In case anyone forgot, McGregor reminded all that he already holds a win over Holloway. The two met back in 2013 at 145 pounds and McGregor ended up using his grappling to earn a decision win. “Notorious” is excited to prove he’ll be able to school Holloway again and recapture his UFC glory in his return.
Check out McGregor’s late-night reactions below:
“I’m gonna son you, child. Again,” wrote McGregor.
“You’re gonna put respect on my motherf—king name,” he added.
Holloway, who has been waiting years for his chance to get his hands on McGregor again, was quick to fire back a response. “Blessed” is confident it’s his game that will reign supreme at UFC 329. Check it out below:
“Nah big dog you gonna put some respect on my name,” wrote Holloway.
“We gonna find out Saturday night,” added Holloway.
