Paddy Pimblett admits he “got fat again” after his UFC 324 loss to Justin Gaethje.
But now that “The Baddy” is back in fight camp, getting in shape is his No. 1 priority. The Scouser recently tipped the scale at 188 pounds roughly seven weeks out from his Benoit Saint Denis fight at UFC 329 in Las Vegas; but don’t worry, he’s actually right on target for his 155-pound return.
Despite what all the armchair dietitians will tell you.
“I know you always think I’m a fat bastard but the weight is actually
sound,” Pimblett said on his latest Vlog. “You can all think what you want. You have all these stupid dietitians and fight dietitians posting pictures of me. Fuck you all. You gang of bums. You can’t even make your own fighters make weight.”
Maybe they’re trying to avoid kidney failure.
Pimblett, 31, has previously admitted to a “genuine eating disorder” and frequently packs on weight in between fights; so in that respect, he puts himself in a position to be criticized. Especially in an industry that has been known to kill fighters during extreme weight cuts.
The price to pay to live your dream, according to this coma survivor.
