by Bayern fans. Real Madrid smothered Manchester City with a 5-1 aggregate score to advance from the Round of 16. On the bright side, Real Madrid has lost three times at the Bernabéu this season.
Prediction
Bayern draws 2-2. The remaining La Liga teams (Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Atletico Madrid) all pose unique problems to Bayern’s style of play, primarily in their counterattacking abilities. Konrad Laimer and Josip Stanišić will need to be more cautious in their forward runs. Both teams will hold and lose the lead, with Kylian Mbappé scoring first, Bayern answering with goals from Michael Olise and Harry Kane, then Bayern conceding a late minute equalizer from a corner kick.
