Barcelona are being linked with a move for Manchester City defender Josko Gvardiol as attempts continue to strengthen the squad this summer.
The Catalan giants have already agreed a deal for Anthony Gordon and are expected to make an offer for Atletico’s Julian Alvarez shortly.
Barcelona are also still thinking about their defence and are considering going for Gvardiol as well this summer, per Cadena SER.
The defender only has one year left on his contract with the Cityzens and his ability to play at
center-back or left-back is an attraction for Barca, according to the report.
Barcelona’s top target for their defence had been Alessandro Bastoni but that deal now seems to be off. The Catalans have cooled their interest and Inter have confirmed they now expect the Italy international to stay.
