The New Orleans Saints face the Tennessee Titans this week, as we prepare to ring out 2025 on a high note. It was a difficult start of the season for the Saints, but things have really turned around for the better as the holidays approached. Now this Christmas we are all hoping the Saints can give us the gift of a four-game winning streak! In a city known for “miracles”, the Saints won’t need one to get the win this holiday. Let’s take a look at this game as well as the rest of the Week 17 schedule
on Christmas week.
Last week, I went 13-3
I told you so: Titans over Chiefs!
What do I know: Broncos over Jaguars?
WEEK 17
Thursday, December 25th – Christmas Day NFL Special
Cowboys(6-8-1) at Commanders(4-11)
These NFC East rivals are suffering through very disappointing seasons, but Dallas will have the satisfaction of completing the season sweep of Washington. Dallas wins 32-24.

Thursday, December 25th – Christmas Day NFL Special
Lions(8-7) at Vikings(7-8)
Despite being on a downward slide, Detroit will keep their Wild Card hopes alive, against their division rivals in Minnesota. It’ll be a close one, but unlike last week, Detroit finds a way in the end. Detroit wins 24-22.
Pick: Lions

Thursday, December 25th – Thursday Night Football Season Finale
Broncos(12-3) at Chiefs(6-9)
The Grinch should steal this game. Denver will annihilate the husk of what was the Kansas City Chiefs. Denver wins 41-0.
Pick: Broncos

Saturday, December 27th – Saturday NFL Special
Texans(10-5) at Chargers(11-4)
The Bolts have been red hot, on a four-game winning streak, but Houston is white hot, on a seven-game winning streak of their own. Houston’s top-ranked defense will carry the day in this playoff rematch, and potential playoff preview. Houston wins 20-12.
Pick: Texans

Saturday, December 27th – Saturday Night NFL Special
Ravens(7-8) at Packers(9-5-1)
Both teams have massive questions and concerns at quarterback coming into this crucial game, and it will be the defenses that have to carry the night. A walk-off field goal sends the Lambeau crowd home happy. Green Bay wins 17-14.
Pick: Packers

Sunday, December 28th – Early Games
Seahawks(12-3) at Panthers(8-7)
This game will be much closer than most would think, as both teams are playing for their respective division titles. Seattle will continue to ride the wave of their crucial win last week and win a huge game in the road at Carolina. Seattle wins 25-21.
Pick: Seahawks
***
Cardinals(3-12) at Bengals(5-10)
Joe Burrow and Cincy will carry over their momentum from last week’s blowout win and earn another easy victory here. Cincinnati wins 37-14.
Pick: Bengals
***
Steelers(9-6) at Browns(3-12)
Pittsburgh can seal up the AFC North title with a win over their division rivals in Cleveland, and they’ll do just that. Pittsburgh wins 23-16.
Pick: Steelers

Jaguars(11-4) at Colts(8-7)
Coming off one of the biggest wins in franchise history, Jacksonville goes to Indy and puts the Colts’ dying playoff hopes to rest. Jacksonville wins 39-22.
Pick: Jaguars
***
Buccaneers(7-8) at Dolphins(6-9)
In the midst of a stunning nosedive, having lost 6 of their last 7 games, Tampa Bay gets a brief respite from their losing ways, with a close win in Miami. Tampa Bay wins 25-22.
Pick: Buccaneers
***
Patriots(12-3) at Jets(3-12)
With the top seed in the AFC within their grasp, New England easily dispatches of their division rival on the road. New England wins 26-9.
Pick: Patriots

Saints(5-10) at Titans(3-12)
Tennessee is coming off their most impressive win of the season, beating a defeated and unmotivated Kansas City team, but the Saints are playing far more inspired and motivated football, even with playoff hopes long past gone. The Saints are on their longest win streak in three seasons, and with this win over the Titans, the Saints will find themselves on their longest win streak since Drew Brees’ final season. Tyler Shough will give Saints fans what Brees last could, a four-game win streak, and that is a gift we are all grateful to receive this Christmas. Saints win 24-17.
Pick: Saints

Sunday, December 28th – Late Games
Giants(2-13) at Raiders(2-13)
This matchup is so terrible that it is almost intriguing. Two teams on parallel 9-game losing streaks. If you could dream up the antithesis of the Super Bowl, it would be this game: The Moveable Object vs. The Resistible Force. The loser all but secures the first-overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, and that loser will be Las Vegas, who will make an absolute mint off of Raiders Martinez jerseys. This battle of the worst teams in the NFL will come down to a successful two-point conversion attempt by the Giants on the final play. Maybe this is the actual Game of the Week. New York wins 22-21.
Pick: Giants
***
Eagles(10-5) at Bills(11-4)
Although they appeared to get their mojo back against two of the NFL’s worst teams, Philly’s offense will sputter when they need to soar in Buffalo, against a Bills team that has begun to heat up over the past month. Buffalo wins 34-24.
Pick: Bills
***
Sunday Night Football
Bears(11-4) at 49ers(11-4) – Game of the Week
This massive NFC showdown may have as much to say about who earns the NFC’s top seed in the playoffs as any game this year. A game-winning field goal by Chicago in the closing moments will stun the home crowd in this pivotal matchup. Chicago wins 23-21.
Pick: Bears
***
Monday, December 29th – Monday Night Football
Rams(11-4) at Falcons(6-9)
Stinging from their crushing loss in Seattle last week, the Rams exact some revenge against the overmatched Falcons in Atlanta. Los Angeles wins 34-17.
Pick: Rams
