WWE needs more than one main event for WrestleMania 43. Let’s see what today’s rumors have to say about it!
Top rumor of the day: WrestleMania 43’s other main event
All signs continue to point to Oba Femi challenging Roman Reigns for the world heavyweight championship in the main event of WrestleMania 43 next year, which is happening in Saudi Arabia (unless it’s not).
That’s all well and good, but WrestleMania is a two-night extravaganza. So, what is WWE’s plan for the other main event that weekend?
A source told WrestleVotes Radio that a SummerSlam rematch
of Cody Rhodes vs. CM Punk looks like the leading candidate for that spot right now. Rhodes has main evented WrestleMania every year since 2023, while Punk has now done it in consecutive years, so it’s not crazy at all to think they will be fighting each other in one of the main events at SaudiMania.
Let’s just hope WWE/TKO keeps Pat McAfee and Jelly Roll out of Cody’s story this time.
