We have our LCS matchups, and though we already knew this, they do not involve the Yankees. The Dodgers and Brewers will square off in the NLCS for a second-straight year, and after erasing an 0-2 deficit in the ALDS, the Guardians advance to the ALCS for a second time in three years, where they’ll clash with the Rays. It was a fairly scintillating comeback for Cleveland, who saw Gavin Williams strike out 12 to help propel them to a decisive Game 5 victory last night.
On the site today, Andrew recaps
last night’s ALDS Game 5, and also profiles the enigmatic Orlando Hernández, who turns 61 today. Later, Matt delivers his All-September Yankees team, and John spins through a somber week in Yankee social media.

Questions/Prompts:
1. As noted by Matt in the news today, the time might be now for the Yankees to consider what the future holds for Giancarlo Stanton. Will Stanton play for New York in 2027?
2. Which Ace do you think will perform better tonight, Misiorowski or Skubal?
