The big news for this one is a debut call-up for João Cancelo, who returns to the club for a second loan spell and is named in the squad after just one day of training with the group. There is one important absence, however, as Frenkie de Jong is suspended due to his red card in the Spanish Super Cup Final, and he misses out along with the injured Gavi (knee) and Andreas Christensen (knee).
