We’re not exactly sure why she was gone, but Ms. Parker is back.
Jaida Parker has been in WWE Developmental since 2022, and last year was prominently featured on NXT. At various points of the year she was in the mix for the Women’s North American and NXT Women’s titles. But her last televised match came back in October. The 26-year-old former collegiate soccer player remained active on the NXT house show circuit for the rest of the year, and rumors just surfaced that Parker was on her way back to our
screens.
Last night (Jan. 13), she was back — just in time to interrupt Blake Monroe’s boastful heel promo. Parker did so just as former Women’s North American champion Monroe was declaring herself “the most complete woman in NXT”.
Blake didn’t like how excited the Performance Center crowd was to see Jaida, and of course things broke down quickly. Parker dodged Monroe’s attack, then launched one of her own that sent the heel packing.
That segment would also seem to confirm another recent rumor, which was included in the same edition of our Rumor Roundup as the tidbit about Parker’s return… namely, that the former Mariah May isn’t main roster-bound until after NXT’s WrestleMania-adjacent event, Stand & Deliver. Based on last night, a feud with Jaida looks like it will take up at least a month or so of The Glamour’s time.
