Alexander Hernandez scored another massive victory earlier tonight (Sat., Oct. 3, 2026) at UFC 332 LIVE on Paramount+/CBS from inside Delta Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, stopping former UFC lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos with a second-round TKO (punches).
Dos Anjos came into Saturday night fresh off a two-year layoff, but some hardcore fight fans believed the 41-year-old could turn back the clock and give Hernandez problems. That’s exactly what happened for most of the first round as RDA
looked as good as ever. He kept Hernandez on his back foot and did some serious damage with his hands and kicks to the body, but Hernandez connected on a clean shot with seconds left in the round that had dos Anjos on wobbly legs.
Hernandez realized he was able to hurt dos Anjos and came out firing once the second round started. “The Great” was able to gain top control and stayed there for a good portion of the round. As RDA tried to return to his feet Hernandez caught him again and dropped him. Dos Anjos tried to cover up, but Hernandez quickly piled on insurance shots to force the referee’s hand.
It was a great ending for Hernandez even though things started off a little shaky. Check out the final moments of the fight below:
