Bayern Munich board member for sport Max Eberl is fan of Konrad Laimer and wants to see the versatile central midfielder / outside-back ink a new contract with the club.
“Konny is doing an outstanding job,
he’s incredibly important for the mix in our team. With his energy, commitment, and morale, a player like him is the glue that holds our team together. We can very, very well imagine extending his contract,” Eberl told Sport Bild’s Henning Feindt, Christian Falk, and Tobi Altschäffl (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Laimer has developed into an indispensable part of Bayern Munich’s team. The Austrian’s attitude and energy are infectious and his willingness to do whatever the team needs is an underrated component of the whole package with Laimer.
Both sides would do well to get a deal done soon.
