Barcelona star Anthony Gordon says that team-mate Lamine Yamal and England colleague Harry Kane are his two picks for the 2026 Ballon d’Or.
The two players are among the favorites for the Golden Ball, along with Kylian Mbappe, but Gordon says Yamal and Kane are his top two.
“For me, it has to be one of the two in terms of what they’ve achieved,” he told talkSPORT.
“What Lamine’s achieved at such a young age. The kind of player he is, is ridiculous. He’s on a whole other level right now. For a 19-year-old
to be doing what he’s doing is crazy.”
Gordon then spoke about Kane and feels the Bayern striker is also in with a strong shout.
“But if we were talking off last season, H has got as big of an argument as anybody because his season was historic,” he added.
“The amount of goals he scored, the things he’s done for us within the World Cup, they both have large arguments. So I wish them both the best of luck.”
Gordon is currently with Kane and the England squad for Nations League fixtures, with the Three Lions set to come up against Yamal and Spain on Saturday night.
