German national team boss Jürgen Klopp is ready to do something that former manager Julian Nagelsmann refused to do last summer — play Bayern munich star Joshua Kimmich in the central midfield per Sport Bild (as captured by @iMiaSanMia):

It is also said that Julian Nagelsmann had given Kimmich the prospect of returning to his preferred midfield position from a potential Round of 16 clash against France at the 2026 World Cup. However, that never materialized due to the early exit to Paraguay.
