Germany took down Finland and the United States in its World Cup tune-ups, but the two victories did not instill a ton of confidence in fans.
After seeing the two games play out, who would you say is Germany’s most important player? Is it Bayern Munich star and German national team captain Joshua Kimmich, who might need to be the best right-back in the tourney for Germany to win the World Cup? What about Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, who is making his (hopefully) triumphant return to the German national team?
You could make an argument that Arsenal FC’s Kai Havertz will need to play the biggest role given his expected role as the squad’s primary goal scorer. Maybe, though, the answer lies with Borussia Dortmund’s Nico Schlotterbeck or Bayern Munich’s Aleksandar Pavlović, who will play vital roles for the team?
