TCU forward Emma Yolinsky scored both of the team’s goals during a 2-0 shutout win over Cincinnati at Garvey-Rosenthal on Friday evening. Yolinsky converted on Giovanna Costanzo and Cameron Patton’s assists in the 48th minute and gave the Horned Frogs (5-4-2, 2-2-0 Big 12) a comfortable lead after finishing Bella Diorio and Kamdyn Fuller’s assists in the 73rd minute. TCU outpaced Cincinnati 13-5 on shots and 6-2 in shots on goal.
Olivia Geller notched two saves in the shutout win for the Horned Frogs, who bounced back from a 2-0 shutout loss against BYU in Provo on Monday. TCU owned a 7-3 advantage on corner kicks and possessed the ball for 61% of the match compared to only 39% for the Bearcats. The Horned Frogs will face UCF at home Thursday.
