Bayern Munich found a dream transfer last summer. Acquiring Tom Bischof from TSG Hoffenheim was quietly one of the best transfers the club has ever made. While it didn’t seem like that over his first season with the club, the benefits he brings to the table, are now impossible to ignore.
While he was a versatile and talented option last season fighting to earn minutes, he seems destined for a full-blown breakout this season under Vincent Kompany. Bischof wants to start of the season on the right note
and understands the importance of the early tests against Borussia Dortmund and VfB Stuttgart.
“We’ll never get comfortable anyway, the coach makes sure of that. Therefore, it’s good that it’s starting with a bang. I think every player would prefer to play games than just train constantly. And the fact it’s starting against Dortmund and Stuttgart, I think is good. We’ll be ready,” Bischof stated, as captured by @iMiaSanMia.
It sounds like Bischof and the squad are up to the test, and the young midfielder paid credit to Kompany as well. It will certainly be important to start the season off with some big results, and would set the right tone to build upon an already successful season last year.
