Barcelona have been told to forget about trying to sign Bournemouth star Eli Junior Kroupi by the club’s chief executive Tiago Pinto.
Kroupi has impressed in the Premier League this season which has led to speculation he is wanted at Camp Nou ahead of the summer transfer window.
Pinto, however, has spoken out about the young star and made it crystal clear that he’s going nowhere this summer.
“Junior Kroupi will not be leaving Bournemouth. His contract still has more than four years remaining, there
is no release clause, and he’s not going anywhere,” he told 365scores.
“We will not sell Kroupi even if Barcelona or Liverpool offer 100 million euros. That is completely out of the question.”
Reports have claimed that Kroupi is a Barca fan, after pictures of the forward in the club’s kit as a youngster emerged, but he’s another player who looks out of the club’s financial reach this summer.
