When a player immediately just walks off the field and heads right up the tunnel to the clubhouse, the news cannot be anything but bad. You could see some concern in the face of Turner himself, the trainer that walked with him and with Rob Thomson once he was told the news about
Turner.
Postgame, Rob Thomson sounded somewhat concerned about how things were looking without getting into placing any kind of timetables.
Turner himself had some things to say about the injury, so try and read whatever you want to into his tone, cadence, etc.
Obviously, the news of this injury is not the best as far as timing. The team is pushing secure a playoff spot, the division, a first round bye and losing one of their MVP candidates is a big blow. Speculation about his injury is being based on how long he was out last season, but we don’t know know the severity of it, so best to keep that speculation low for now.
