Marcus Rashford is confident Barcelona can pick up more trophies this season after winning La Liga, the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup last season.
The forward has arrived on loan from Manchester United and has spoken out about his ambitious for the season after settling into life with a new team in a new league.
“This team has the foundation to achieve it; otherwise, they wouldn’t have won three trophies last season. The mentality and motivation are high; I don’t see any reason not to win
every trophy we compete for,” he told El Periodico.
“For me, this team is ready to win. I just want to help however I can. The season is long and football is unpredictable, but the team and the coaching staff have the kind of strong mentality to face any challenge.”
Rashford will be hoping he can play an important role for Flick’s side this season as he bids to get his career back on track after a difficult spell.
He made his La Liga debut as a substitute in Saturday’s win over Mallorca and will be eager for more minutes next time out against Levante.
