What To Watch For:
- “Not a passer?” Much has been made about Marcel Reed’s effectiveness in the passing game (or lack thereof). While UTSA is hard from the ultimate measuring stick, him going out there and making things look easy would go a long way in calming some of those worries.
- D-Line rebuild? The Aggies lost three defensive linemen to the NFL as well as couple others to the transfer portal. While there are reasons for optimism with players like Cashius Howell and D.J. Hicks leading the charge, this may be one of the bigger question marks on the team. Stuff the UTSA run game and get to the QB with regularity and we’ll all feel a lot better.
- Start the season off right. The best outcome here for the Aggies is a comfortable victory with no major injuries. Get the backups some meaningful reps, build some confidence as we kick off the 2025 season.
