The 2026 season couldn’t have started any better for the Las Vegas Raiders, who wrap up September with a perfect 3-0 record. Like last week, the Raiders aren’t missing any of their offseason losses so far, but let’s check in on a few old friends to see how Week 3 fared for them.

Geno Smith

Score: 31-24 Jets lose

Stats:

31/37 (83.8%), 321 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INTs

Smith played pretty well against the Detroit Lions, carving up the Lions’ defense for the first 300-yard game he’s had since his Raiders’ debut in last year’s

season opener. The veteran quarterback also helped rookie tight end Kenyon Sadiq announce himself to the league, with Sadiq hauling in seven passes for 105 yards and a score. New York even tied it up with about four minutes left in the fourth quarter. However, Smith was sacked five times and fumbled in scoring territory on the last one, ending any comeback hopes.

Dylan Parham

Score: 31-24 Jets lose

Staying in New York, Parham seems to have found new life with the Jets this season. Heading into the game, he was Pro Football Focus’ highest-graded guard with an elite mark of 92.8 through two weeks (h/t Jets Media on X/Twitter). However, Week 3 was a different story for Parham. Before PFF’s review, he had an ugly 47.1 grade and really struggled as a run blocker (46.1). On top of that, he suffered a knee injury and was “quickly ruled out”, according to The Athletic’s Zach Rosenblatt. At the time of writing, there’s no word on the severity of Parham’s injury.

Darren Waller

Score: 21-18 Panthers lose

Stats: 5 catches, 51 yards

Truth be told, Waller should have been featured in last week’s check-in. He had a pair of touchdowns against the Atlanta Falcons in Week 2, but this past Sunday was his highest receiving total of the campaign so far. Waller also finished as Carolina’s second-leading receiver, finding the Fountain of Youth after turning 34 years old earlier in the month. Additionally, he’s becoming one of Bryce Young’s favorite targets, with a team-leading eight passes coming his way against the Browns. As a side note, don’t look now, but Cleveland is 2-1 with back-to-back wins!
