The Tennessee Volunteers will have a very interesting home slate in 2026 at they look to get back to the College World Series.
The school released its 2026 SEC schedule, and there will be a number of notable matchups in Knoxville.
The Vols will start SEC play on the road against a national seed from last year in the Georgia Bulldogs. Their next road trip is at last year’s #1
national seed and SEC tournament champion Vanderbilt. Fortunately, Tennessee gets a layup against Missouri sandwiched in between. The Tigers finished last in the SEC with a 3-27 conference mark in 2025.
However, the rest of the home slate is marquee baseball, with all four other home opponents making the NCAA Tournament last season. Tennessee welcomes defending national champion LSU to Knoxville from April 3-5 and gets Ole Miss and Bama in back-to-back weeks. Their home slate wraps up May 8-10 against another 2025 national seed in the defending SEC regular season champion Texas Longhorns.
It’s a tough row to hoe, but it at least has some tricky matchups taking place in the friendly confines of Lindsey Nelson Stadium.
