The Washington Commanders are in London and this is your reminder to set that alarm for a 9:30 a.m. ET kickoff! They are “hosting” the Indianapolis Colts for their first game in London in a decade. That contest ended in a tie, but we’ll try to get a win on Sunday morning this time.
The Commanders announced a mixed bag of injury news on Friday. Dan Quinn announced that Jayden Daniels wouldn’t play, despite traveling with the team and practicing this week. That means Marcus Mariota gets the start, and he’ll
try to have another player of the week performance. Washington already ruled out starters Sam Cosmi and Nick Criss, but they’re getting Frankie Luvu and Chig Okonkwo back after missing the last two games.
The Commanders are coming off a huge upset over the reigning Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks. The offense put up 27 points, and the defense added another 6 points via a Kain Medrano pick-6. The defense had three takeaways, but is averaging 30+ points allowed per game this season. Expect a high-scoring game between the Colts and Commanders.
