The Kentucky Wildcats have a couple of visitors on the list for Friday evening’s matchup against the Purdue Boilermakers. The newest guest set to be in Lexington on Friday is class of 2027 shooting guard
Chase Lumpkin, the Georgia native told KSR.
Lumpkin, a 6-4, 180-pound SG, has offers from a host of schools, including Florida State, Ole Miss, Auburn, and Georgia Tech, among others. The talented guard is starting to rise in the rankings and take visits to a few SEC schools. He has been to Alabama, Ole Miss, and Tennessee.
Going into his junior season at McEachern, Lumpkin is ranked No. 71 in the 2027 class, according to 247 Sports.
The Wildcats will also be expecting a couple of other visitors on Friday for the Wildcats’ exhibition game: 5-star center Obinna Ekezie Jr. and 4-star forward Lincoln Cosby are expected to be inside Rupp Arena for the big game.
Kentucky will look to stay in touch with these highly touted recruits and secure an official visit with them in the future.
