As you may have seen, on his way back from last season’s season-ending meniscus injury, Jared McCain suffered another injury, this time tearing the UCL in his right thumb.
While it could have kept him out
for an extended period of time, tentatively, it looks as if that may not be the case.
ESPN’s Shams Charania reports that while McCain is going to have to have surgery, his recovery and rehab is not expected to that bad, relatively speaking: rather than two to three months, McCain may be back in four to six weeks.
Obviously much depends on his particular situation as in any surgery. What this suggests is that it could have been a lot worse.
