Tessa Blanchard will finally make her MLW debut at Saturday Night SuperFight on November 7 in Chicago, Illinois. That date was previously announced, and now we know her opponent. MLW revealed that Blanchard will wrestle CMLL luchadora Keyra.
Keyra is a new addition to CMLL. However, she is a veteran on the lucha libre scene and a former Reina de Reinas champion in AAA. Keyra and Blanchard have been opponents in CMLL for multi-woman matches, but their only one-on-one bout came in TNA during 2018. Blanchard took home the win on that night. Keyra looks to be spoiler for Blanchard’s big appearance in MLW.
The updated card for MLW SuperFight includes wrestlers from CMLL and NJPW:
- MLW World Heavyweight Championship: Killer Kross (c) vs. Josh Bishop in Last Man Standing
- MLW World Tag Team Championship: Good Brothers (c) vs. Glasgow Boys On Top
- Tessa Blanchard vs. Keyra
- IWGP heavyweight champion Yota Tsuji in non-title bout
- Mistico in action
Tickets are sold out for Cicero Stadium. The PPV event streams exclusively through VEEPS.
