Well, that didn’t take long.
Michael Penix, Jr. found Bijan Robinson on a routine checkdown, and Robinson decided that he wanted to make a statement on his second touch of the day. Robinson sped past the entire Buccaneers defense on the way to a 50-yard catch-and-run for the Falcons’ first touchdown of the season.
Coming into the year, there were questions about if Robinson can finally be the home-run
hitter that he was touted to be with the eighth overall selection in 2023.
The answer is a resounding yes. And it’s a great first sign for what year two of the Zac Robinson experience in Atlanta will look like.
