Last month, there were a series of reports about Big Bill’s AEW contract being up this month, Enzo Amore training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, and WWE wanting to rebuild its tag team division. Within days the rumors had been tied together and we were hearing that WWE was discussing an Amore and Big Cass (the name seven-footer William Morrisey used in WWE) reunion, with some producers really pushing for it.
At the time, we asked our community what they thought about the idea.

Fightful Select reports today (June 30) that Bill/Cass has given notice to AEW that he’s leaving when his contract expires sometime between now and the end of next week. The outlet says that Amore hadn’t inked a WWE deal as of mid-June, but indicated that was likely because the company wanted to wait to be sure Cass could join him.
The Big man had a nice run in AEW, where he signed in 2022 after proving the addiction-fueled chaos of his past was behind him during his time in TNA. He won the tag titles with Ricky Starks before Starks left to become WWE’s Ricky Saints, and had been working tag with Bryan Keith as Chris Jericho’s Learning Tree disciples. But Jericho returned earlier this year without any real sign of picking that story back up, then the WWE return rumors started for the former NXT and Raw team of Zo & Cass.
Cass is married to AEW interviewer Lexi Nair, who he met while working with her step-father Diamond Dallas Page early in his sobriety.
We’ll keep you posted with more reports and, when/if it happens, the news of Enzo Amore & Big Cass’ WWE return.
