What is the story about?
According to Parker Gabriel of the Denver Post, the Denver Broncos have waived wide receiver Michael Bandy today.
Bandy spent much of his time with the Broncos on the practice squad, but did get offensive snaps in four games last season along with his first NFL touchdown. The wide receiver room is pretty stacked, though, and that left Bandy on the outside looking in for that final 53-man roster.
What Bandy has going for him is consistency:
Bandy runs clean
routes from what I’ve seen. I like his quickness, and he shows good hands when I have seen him get a few opportunities.
In my view, he is a guy that is likely to be considered for the practice squad given his regular season game experience and familiarity with the offensive system.
