Eighteen-year-old winger Jesse Bisiwu is on the verge of completing a transfer from Club Brugge to join FC Barcelona, per reports.

The youngster has already signed documents and only small details need to be completed before he’s officially announced. The signing had already been widely reported for a while as nearing completion, so the latest news comes as no surprise.

The deal is reportedly worth 8.5 million euro, and Brugge will retain 20% of a future sale.

Bisiwu has played for Belgian youth teams

and Club NXT, which is Brugge’s reserve team, in the second flight of Belgian football.

Barça have been following him a while and are said to be impressed by his quality, physical attributes, and potential.

The left winger will join Barça Atlètic but is expected to get minutes for the first team as well. He is expected to join the first team for preseason and perhaps get minutes in those tune-up matches.
