The No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes are set to take on arguably their toughest test of the season — which is saying something, given how daunting their schedule is — as they go on the road to play the No. 4 Texas Longhorns in primetime in Austin. The Buckeyes have beaten Texas in each of the last two seasons, and will look to complete the hat trick when the teams kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET in a game airing on ABC.
Throughout the course of the game, we will be here in Gamethread below talking about how the Buckeyes
look, what strings Ryan Day and the coordinators are (and aren’t) properly pulling, and what Texas is doing to combat Ohio State’s myriad of talent on both sides of the ball. So, come join us in chatting about how the Buckeyes look in their first major test of a thoroughly challenging season.
Before the game gets underway, the Land Grant Holy Land staff put our individual reputations on the line by going on the record with our predictions for Week 2’s game vs. Texas. Let us know what you think the final score, game MVP, and postgame headline will be in the Gamethread below.
