This week’s question asked you about Oneil Cruz. The Bucs former shortstop now turned centerfielder had a bad year. He hit 20 dingers, but only had a .200 average, a rock-bottom OPS and a mediocre performance in the outfield. He’s 27, so squarely in his athletic prime, and is due for arbitration in 2026. The Bucs need a lot of pieces. However, Ben Cherington hasn’t exactly been known for winning trades since he became the Pirates GM.
So we asked, should the Pirates trade Oneil Cruz this offseason? Here’s what you said:

So there you have it. A full 61 percent of Pirates fans think the team should look to deal Cruz this offseason. That’s a little higher than I expected, but I certainly understand the frustration over a guy with just as much if not more raw talent as anyone in MLB, but just hasn’t put it all together.
