During Impact (June 18, 2026), TNA filled four spots for the Ultimate X match at Slammiversary, then they added one more spot for a special return.
We knew going into this episode that Cedric Alexander would be defending the X-Division Championship in Ultimate X at Slammiversary. Former champion Leon Slater was the other official participant. Spot three went to Frankie Kazarian. He hosted his talk show, The King’s Speech, with guests Alexander and Slater. Kaz pointed out who he was in the first Ultimate X match,
and he had the most Ultimate X wins on the active roster. As a pioneer of Ultimate X, the King is in.
The Elegance Brand approached authority figure Daria Rae to state their case for Mr. Elegance to be in Ultimate X. The Suit was not swayed by their pitch, however, she did admit that Mr. Elegance is a ratings draw. The fourth spot went to that doofus. A glorious doofus, but a doofus nonetheless. Seriously though, Mr. Elegance is on a win streak with victories over Lei Ying Lee and Elijah.
The field rounded out in a scene with Santino Marella. Fabian Aichner asked his Italian paisan for the chance to prove he is one of the best wrestlers on the planet. The fifth spot went to Aichner. Nic Nemeth stepped in to politic on behalf of KC Navarro. Santino was in a charitable mood, so the sixth spot went to Navarro.
There was a big question remaining between when this episode was taped and news breaking that Amazing Red will return to TNA at Slammiversary. The logical assumption was to give the three-time X-Division champion and also a pioneer of the X-Division a spot in Ultimate X. TNA answered that question after Impact went off the air. On social media, TNA announced that Amazing Red will be granted the seventh spot.
The full field for Ultimate X is reigning champion Cedric Alexander, Leon Slater, Frankie Kazarian, Mr. Elegance, Fabian Aichner, KC Navarro, and Amazing Red.

- Knockouts Championship: Lei Ying Lee (c) vs. Xia Brookside
- TNA World Tag Team Championship in a ladder match: The System (c) vs. The Hardys vs. The Righteous
- X-Division Championship in Ultimate X: Cedric Alexander (c) vs. Leon Slater vs. Frankie Kazarian vs. Mr. Elegance vs. Fabian Aichner vs. KC Navarro vs. Amazing Red.
- TNA International Championship: Mustafa Ali (c) vs. TBA
- Knockouts Tag Team Championship: Elegance Brand (c) vs. Rosemary & Allie
- Eddie Edwards vs. Moose
- Eric Young vs. Ricky Sosa
