The Detroit Lions’ Week 8 game against the Minnesota Vikings came to a screetching halt after the first play of the fourth quarter, when Lions All-Pro linebacker appeared to go limp when tackling Vikings tight end T.J. Hockenson. On the play, Campbell appeared to get bent awkwardly back.
Campbell was down on the ground for well over five minutes as medical officials tended to him, before taking him off on a stretcher with his head supported, along with all of his extremities. There was no immediate
update on Campbell status from the team, and we’ll update this post as we get any information on Campbell’s status.
Campbell is obviously one of the Lions’ most important players, as he’s an All Pro, and receive a big four-year, $81 million extension this offseason.
While we wait for an update, if you’re the praying or well-wishing type, the entire Campbell family could use your thoughts.
