With a massive game on Saturday between Mizzou and Vanderbilt, three star 2026 cornerback Ahmod Billins announced his commitment to the Tigers, becoming the 20th commit of Missouri’s 2026 recruiting class.
Billins held a private party with his family before publicly announcing his decision, and the news ultimately came out at X through X.
Billins has had his eyes on the Tigers for a while but was also reportedly interested in Jacksonville State. He chose Missouri over schools like Mercer, Tulane, Army and Jacksonville State. The cornerback visited Columbia the weekend of Homecoming when the Tigers trampled UMass, 42-6.
Stewart joins 19 other Tigers as Mizzou’s 2026 recruiting class is officially turn around. The Tigers’ class was ranked outside of the top 80 in 247Sport’s team rankings and is now ranked in the top 30 with the new additions. He joins Tony Forney, Brody Jones and Carter Stewart as the fourth defensive back in the recruiting class.

Billins plays on both sides of the ball and similar to most of the Mizzou commits, he’s dominant. He was pretty solid at cornerback but what impressed me was the speed he showed at quarterback. He took a bunch of snaps under center and showed great breakaway speed. Not to mention, he’s not afraid to knock anybody in his way down.
