Brad Underwood has a lot to be thankful for on Thursday.
In-state prospect Quinton Kitt committed to Illinois on Thanksgiving, according to a report from Joe Tipton.
“I’m ready to work and represent my state,”
Kitt told Tipton.
A three-star recruit out of East Peoria H.S., Kitt is one of the top young prospects in the state for the 2027 class.
Kitt, a 6-foot-6 forward, visited Champaign in August, and talked to TCR’s Robby Nardini after the visit.
“I want a school that can develop me and get me to the next level,” Kitt told TCR. “I want to help a program win games, play in March Madness and ultimately get to the next level.”
A good start to a big weekend for BU & Co., as the Illini are in NYC for a Black Friday showdown with UCONN.
