After Abner Uribe (and closer Trevor Megill) got off to a bit of a cold start to the season, both players have been elite over the last couple of months. Uribe, 26, hasn’t allowed a run since June 19 against Atlanta, and he’s allowed just two runs total since May 15, totaling 28 innings with a 0.64 ERA and 27 strikeouts.
He’s collected 16 holds and six saves this season — the 16 holds are easily the best on the team (Aaron
Ashby ranks second with nine), while the six saves are second to only Megill’s 18.
