On paper, Chelsea’s game tonight against Pafos FC, the second lowest-ranked team remaining in the competition, is the easiest of our eight league-phase matches in the Champions League.
That ranking will have improved over the past few months however, as they’ve collected six points from their first six games, and remain well in contention for the playoffs. They don’t score a lot, but they also don’t concede too many, and after coming through three rounds of qualifiers, have lost just two games in this
phase.
But one would expect the Blues to still take care of business even if we don’t roll with a full strength lineup, and that’s precisely what the WAGNH Community would expect as well with our preferred lineup.
While there are some first-choice players in there, including the likes of Trevoh Chalobah, Robert Sáanchez, and Moisés Caicedo, most of the rest are not. This should be their time to shine!
4-2-3-1 (74%)

Wesley Fofana (51%), Filip Jörgensen (47%), and Enzo Fernández (47%) just miss out, while Reece James (40%) isn’t too far behind either. Estêvão (31%), Marc Cucurella (27%), Dário Essugo (25%), Tyrique George (25%), and Marc Guiu (21%) also received a fair few votes.
